Getting from the airport to Livingston

Fifteen minutes by car, and what to do if you land late, have no car, or are picking up a rental.

Both of our homes are in Livingston, at the north edge of Calgary. From Calgary International Airport it is a fifteen-minute drive with no traffic, and rarely more than twenty-five.

If you are renting a car

The rental counters are inside the terminal on the arrivals level. Once you leave the airport, take Airport Trail west, then Stoney Trail north to the Centre Street exit. Your check-in message has the exact address and a map link.

If you are taking a taxi or rideshare

Uber, Lyft, and taxis all pick up at the airport. Expect roughly the same fare either way. Tell the driver Livingston, and give them the address from your check-in message once you are in the car.

If you land late

Every unit has self check-in with a keypad, so there is no cut-off time. If anything goes wrong, message us. Guests are often surprised that we answer at eleven at night, but we do.

Getting around without a car

Livingston is a newer neighbourhood, so transit is thinner than in the inner city. There is a bus to the North Pointe terminal, where you can catch the express downtown. For a stay of more than a couple of days, a car makes the trip much easier, especially if you plan to go to the mountains.
